Soul Cool calls himself the ultimate party starter. Highly talented vocalist and keyboard player performing soul, motown and party classics with an optional DJ service. Wedding Singer / Soul Singer in London.
PRICE GUIDE: £660
You've just happened upon the original PARTY MAN! An American soloist keyboard/vocalist GROOVE MACHINE and entertainer from Brooklyn, New York.
Since becoming permanently resident in the UK, Steven's been setting clubs, casinos, holiday camps, resorts, festivals, hotels and corporate Britain (not to mention weddings and birthday parties)ON FIRE with an ecclectic mix of Motown, Soul, Funk, 70's/80's classic dance music and 90's RnB with a touch of Island/Latin sounds for good measure.
His formula is quite simple; Wherever he goes to do his thing, he just makes sure to have a good time: The really amazing thing about a good time, and having one, is that it's often highly contagious. Steven so enjoys what he does, and is often told by members of his audiences what a nice time they've had of an evening in his company. There's absolutely no better complement to an entertainer.
That said, it's also worth mentioning that he's been doing this for awhile. Steven's had, and continues to have, the good fortune of working with quite a few noteworthy people in the music industry, touring or performing with artists such as Heatwave, The Real Thing, Rose Royce, Boney M, The Three Degrees, George Mcrae, KC and the Sunshine Band, Sister Sledge, Natalie Cole, Aswad, Teddy Pendergrast, the Isley brothers, Leee John and Imagination, Dr Hook, and the late great Mr Edwinn Starr, amongst many others.
In addition to working as a solo artist in his own right, Steven is also one of the lead singers of the 70's/80's chart-topping group Odyssey. You may recall their top 10 hits; Native New Yorker, Use It Up and Wear It Out, Inside Out, Looking for A Way Out, Going Back To My Roots, and the rare groove Don't Tell Me Tell Her. The group continues to do tours throughout the UK and has just released a new album entitled "Legacy", yet Steven likes to stay on top of his game by doing his own thing around the country. Just the same, his experience and pedigree in the music industry speak for themselves.
When he isn’t out performing, Steven's days are often spent in his recording studio, where he produces all his own backing tracks. He performs all the music, plays all the instruments, and does all the backing vocals, even the girlie bits, so that his show is fully HIS PERFORMANCE. It also frees him from being sat behind his keyboard all night, so he can get out front and "get his groove on" with the audience. When he isn't working on music for his shows, he also does voice overs as well as recording and producing other artists, vocalists and bands... His sort of "Day Job".
A typical performance is for 2 x 45 minute sets plus optional DJ service.

I knew you were the business, soon as you walked in...
You really seemed to enjoy yourself up there performing, and that made us want to get up and have a boogie. We all had a really good night. Thank you!
I'm not one for dancing myself, so it was a pleasure to watch you entertain with your fancy footwork as well as your singing and playing talents. Where do you get all that energy?
Immediately, I was impressed with both the lead and the backing vocal performances- all by the man himself. His singing style is definitely American dance/soul as you can hear from the mellow approach, choice of harmonies and control of vibrato.
You handled that audience really well Mate. All those different groups of people and celebrations in the one place! Hen nights, birthdays, plus the locals! Got 'em all up dancin'. Well done. I'll be havin' ya' back for sure.

Thank you so much, you made my husband’s 50th birthday so special. You were easy to book, and reasonable at twice the price! My friends are still talking about it. So good to dance to a singer who knows such a selection of grooves. Even the oldies were kept happy!

You're always a safe bet. Thanks for the friendly, reliable service and for always getting the punters thirsty.
Dear Steven, thank you so much for entertaining us so well on Saturday. I had a brilliant time and all my friends are telling me how much they enjoyed the party and your singing and dancing in particular. With many, many thanks and best wishes
