different parts of the wedding that are ideal to have wedding singers.

How much does a wedding singer cost?
Prices usually depend on how long you need them for and vary from
one artist to another. Typically, a gospel singer costs around £300
for the ceremony performing up to 5 x songs and similar prices for
an opera singer. The swing singers fees start from around £480 and
you can pay up to £1000 for a superb singer for the party. Ultimately,
you get what you pay for and, for one of the most important events
in anyone's life, we recommend that you spend as much as you can
possibly afford.
What is included in the price?
Most wedding singers have their own sound equipment so you don't
need to worry about providing anything for their live performance.
Make sure you check any additional costs such as travel fees and
parking charges. All enquiries made with Book Live will include
the total cost for the performance as long as we know all the information
about your event.
What does a wedding singer need to perform?
Most artists have very few requirements for performances:
- Acess to a power supply
- A suitable performance area
- Around 20-30 minutes to set up depending on whether
they use sound equipment or sing acapella.
- Depending on timings, hot food for the singer
and soft drinks.
- A changing / chill-out area where they can also
leave their valuables.
- Parking spaces to be provided or paid for.
Can I go and see them before I book?
Some singers do have public performances but most don't as these
gigs are usually in pubs and clubs and most of the bands we represent
prefer not to do these. We've included as many live videos of our
artists on their pages so you can see them as well as listen to
their audio samples. Remember, too, if an act does have a public
performance, they may get booked for your date by the time you get
to see them. We are unable to arrange for any prospective client
to go and see a band at someone else's wedding or private party.
How does payment work?
A deposit is due at the point of booking. Book Live can accept
payments by Visa, Switch, Mastercard, Cheque or Bank Transfer.
Balance payments should be settled directly with the band leader
either 2 weeks in advance or in cash at the event so they can pay
all the band members promptly.
